Description
USAID/SOUTH AFRICA AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER in Pretoria, requests expressions of interest from qualified organizations for the following Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 674-01-P -006 Long Term Technical Assistance to R.S.A.'s MIIU. Africa. PURPOSE: The Contractor will provide long term technical assistance and logistical support to the Republic of South Africa's Municipal Infrastructure Investment Unit (MIIU) which has the objective of supporting local government's efforts to package municipal infrastructure projects for private finance and/or management. Demand for assistance from the MIIU will derive from the local authorities and other sub-national units. The contract period will be for an initial two year period with a one year option period. The RFP will be issued o/a July 3, 2001. Deadline for receipt of proposals at USAID/South Africa offices will be August 21, 2001 at 2:00 pm Pretoria Time.
