Description

The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA, is soliciting offers for aerobic instructors as specified below. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F04684-01-Q-0501 and will be issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and = incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The NAIC code is 611620 and the size standard is $5.0 million. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. There is one line items as follows: Line Item 001 -- Qty (1) Each -- Aerobic Class to total 1080 classes per year. Performance will be for one Base year (1 Oct 01 -- 30 Sep 02) with Option to Extend for four (4) additional years. Award will be evaluated based on best value in accordance with FAR 15.302 and 15.304(c)(1) and (2) using price and prior experience as the evaluation factors. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial" apply to this acquisition. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, "Evaluation-Commercial Items" apply to this acquisition. This service will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.0. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items." The clause at FAR 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items" applies to this acquisition. DFARS clauses are incorporated in this solicitation with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The DFARS clause 252.212-7000, "Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items" applies to this acquisition.
