Description

Provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment for the Facility Improvements of the Gymnasium Building 269, USCG Training Center Cape May, 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, NJ. In general the work includes but is not limited to the following:=20 1.1.2.1 Site and Landscape Work: Reconstruct 2 concrete stairs and associated walks, re-grade and re-seed lawns, remove existing and construct new retaining wall, plant trees and bushes. Raise existing lighting poles in the regarded area. 1.1.2.2 Exterior Walls: Repair cracks in foundation and pre-cast panel walls, remove stains, and replace caulking and backer material. 1.1.2.3 Roof: Replace mansard roofing, install heat tracing along pool and gym perimeter. 1.1.2.4 Interior Finishes: Replace deteriorated wall plaster at north wall, refinish racquetball court floor, replace Racquetball court wall panels and provide visibility screening at the visitors toilet area by switching male and female doors. 1.1.2.5 Swimming Pool: Drain and clean pool, add hydro release valve, and repair cracks in pool walls. = 1.1.2.6 Public Address Systems: Add a system in basketball gym for graduation, and add a separate speaker system for the entire facility. 1.1.2.7 Energy Management Systems: Add a complete system for all HVAC systems, equipment and controls. 1.1.2.8 Plumbing: Replace all urinals. 1.1.2.9 Electrical: Replace outlets in pool mechanical area, replace underwater pool lighting and associated wiring, add occupancy sensors for lights in recruit toilets and locker rooms, and replace receptacles on exterior walls. There will be several Unit Work Items also included in the specification that are not listed here. The period of performance will be listed in the solicitation package. This procurement is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
