Description

This announcement is to modify the subject Commercial Agency Announcement/Market Research synopsis that was originally issued in the Commerce Business daily on or about 30 May 2001. MODIFICATION (1): The draft Acquisition Plan and Performance Specifications for EGLM-PMOD are available for public comment on the NSWC Crane web page. The synopsis and other information and announcements can be located at "http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm" under Market Research. Comment is invited from the free world industrial base, other government agencies, and academia. Comments may be attached to the previously described concept papers/preliminary proposals, or if from parties not submitting concept papers/preliminary proposals, comments may be submitted separately. Comments will be accepted on the Acquisition Plan and Performance Specifications until 25 June 2001, 2:00 PM CST, at which time the draft Acquisition Plan and Performance Specifications will be amended and improved using comments that are found valuable to the acquisition process. This is invitational; the government will not pay for the preparation of comments or the comments themselves. MODIFICATION (2): Comments will be addressed at the EGLM-PMOD pre-solicitation conference. The Pre-solicitation Conference for the EGLM-PMOD acquisition will be conducted in conjunction with the SOPMOD Industry Conference (SOL N00164-00-R-0135). This conference is presently scheduled for the 2nd week of July 2001 in Indianapolis, IN. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
