Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor,materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate the 4th floor, West Wing in Bldg #1 at the Philadelphia, VA Medicla Center into a Neurology Service Suite. The contractor should be qualified in hospital renovations. The project includes asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, architectural, mechanical and electrical work, etc. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code for this procurement is 233320. Completion time for this project is 220 calendar days, liquidated damages will be accessed for late completion. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000. -- $5,000,000. The tentative issue date for bid packages is 6/29/01 and bid opening date is 7/30/01. All requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing. A non-refundable fee of $100.00 will be required prior to receiving a bid package. Make checks payable to the VA Medical Center Agent Cashier. There are a limited number of solicitation packages available and they will be issued on a first come basis.
