Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is DLV10217 and incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 97-26. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS/Code is 322299/500EM. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences is interested in obtaining the following: 1) Paper Industrial Wiping Tissue, 2 ply, for windshields, machines, hands, etc. Strong, soft, non-linting in dispenser box, approx. 10 " x 12" open sheet size, 125 sheets/box, 18 boxes/case. Estimated Qty for 1 year is 836 cases; 2) Chix Wet Wipes Towel, disposable, non-woven fabric, 1/4" fold, approx. 14" x 24" open sheet size, 100 per bag/box. Estimated Qty for 1 year is 930 bags/boxes. This is a Term Purchase Order (TPO) and items may be ordered on an as required basis by NIEHS during the period of 1 year. Delivery will be made to NIEHS Warehouse, Bldg. 104, South Campus, 111 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709. Offeror should quote FOB Destination. The following provision applies to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. There are no additional addenda. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial with offers. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following paragraphs of 52.212-5 apply: (a) and (11)-(16)(21)(22)(25)(27) of (b).
