- Description
- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires executive furniture for its new campus at Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The new campus is a nationally and internationally recognized sustainable facility. As such, many of the products used to construct the building contain recycled or recyclable materials and have undergone emissions testing to ensure they are low emitters of pollutants such as formaldehyde and volatile organic chemicals. There are a total of 28 executive offices on the campus. The Specifications for Executive Furniture are specified in the Statement of Work. The Contractor shall furnish everything needed to provide the executive furniture, design layouts of furniture drawings to fit offerors product line, and install the furniture in accordance with the contract requirements. The contractor must furnish a certification that the casegoods products have undergone and passed an emissions test following the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) protocol. The first installation is desired to be completed by August 31, 2001. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 453210 applies with a size standard of $5M in average annual receipts over the last three years.
