Description

DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the subparts in Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Request For Proposal (RFQ 553-67-01) is assigned and shall be referenced on any proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The North American Industry Classification System code is 532420. Vendor shall supply a QuickSet Collator/Booklet maker (10A & 10B towers) with ISP Stitch and fold and face trimmer. Proposals shall be submitted on an "all or none basis." Partial proposals shall be rejected. All potential offerors shall be available to perform the requirements of this contract immediately. Offerors shall provide a complete set of provisions with proposal found at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Reqpresentation and Certificationis-Commercial Items. Provision and clauses found at 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 also apply. Offerors may find the FAR provisions on the internet at www.arnet.gov/far. Proposals shall be sumbitted to the address listed herein or faxed to 313-576-1077 and directed to the attention of Diane Foster (001R-A). The government shall not be held responsible for quality of fax transmittals. The solicitation number (RFQ number) shall be listed on the outside of your response for identification. SPECIAL NOTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 19.502-2 AWARD FOR THIS SERVICE WILL BE MADE ON A COMPETITIVE BASIS TO ELIGIBLE AND RESPONSIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS, PROVIDED THAT A MINIMUM OF TWO COMPETITIVE OFFERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SOLICITATION ARE RECEIVED FROM ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERS.
