Description

The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a sole source purchase order to R&F Products, 1825 Diamond St., San Marcos, CA 92069, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (award will be less than $100,000). This requirement is for the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): 0001, Radar Absorbent Cart Cover, 72inchesX40inchesX 30 inches, 20 each; CLIN 0002, Step Top Radar Absorbent Cart Cover, 72inchesX40inchesX66inches, 4 each; FOB Destination. The required cart covers must be custom fitted and use RFET 2 open-celled reticulated foam absorbers. The material must be extremely fl exible with a weight factor of 0.3lb/sq ft. and be able to provide broadband reflectivity reduction of -20 dB from 3-18 GHz. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are invited to submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to provide these items. Such information should include cost proposal information for providing these items. Respon ses may be mailed to AFFTC/PKD3, 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Attention: Cynthia Keim. Information receiv ed as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive pro curement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to competition based on response to this notice is so lely within the discretion of the Air Force. If no affirmative written responses are received by close of business, Jun 20, 2001, a sole source purchase order will be pursued with R&F Products.
