Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) intends to procure the transfer of software licenses to PC Format and to Upgrade to Site License in PC Format on the following software: SPP97 (single user); TDK99 Single User; Viper 3.5 (2 users). This upgrade will allow MSIC to keep our existing SGI license. Additionally, MSIC intends to procure on site training at MSIC in Huntsville Alabama on the operation of the TDK 99, SPP97, and VIPER 3.5 nozzle performance codes. The Huntsville, Alabama area is the preferred location for the training. If the offeror is outside of this area, the cost of travel and other expenses will be added IAW the Joint Travel Regulation for purposes of evaluation of its bid. Personnel attending instruction will attend individually. Software and Engineering Associates, Inc. has already been identified as offering the required instruction. No RFQs or RFPs will be issued other than this notice. The following provisions and contract clauses apply to this procurement: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All offerors interested in submitting an offer must fax their proposals to MSIC, ATTN: CPT William M. Russell 256-313-7963 not later than 29 June 2001. All offerors must submit evidence that they are certified to instruct on the above listed software. Only facsimile proposals sent to the above number will be considered.
