Description

NONPERSONAL services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and services necessary to provide annual, monthly, emergency, and unscheduled maintenance on Base refrigeration machines, controls and instruments, associated pumps, computer room air conditioning units and other related equipment as defined in the PWS. Performance period is 1 Aug 2001 through 30 Sep 2001(base yr), 1 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002 (1st Option), and 1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003 (2nd Option). Normal hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All work will be performed at Onizuka Air Force Station (OAFS), Sunnyvale, Ca. Any work accomplished after these hours will be on an emergency basis only and only with the approval of the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) or Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE). Emergency service calls is any call placed after normal duty hours from 4:00 p.m. through 7:00 a.m. The contractor shall provide a telephone number that the contractor can be reached 24 hours per day for emergency repair service. The contractor shall respond to the job site within two (2) hours after notification by the Government of required emergency repair service. Contractor shall provide the estimated time to return the unit to operational status within four (4) hours after an emergency or unscheduled response. For unscheduled repair service, contractor shall respond to the job site within 48 hours after notification by the Government. The = QAE may only approve repairs under the amount of $2500.00, all others must be approved by the ACO. There will be a site visit scheduled for 26 Jul 01. This is acquisition is open to Small and Large Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23511 with a size standard of $11,500,000.00. This is open to both large and small busineses.=20
