Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS). Office of Organization and Financing (OOF), plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to William M. Mercer, Inc., New York, NY. The contractor is uniquely positioned to have a tremendous impact on employer mental health substance abuse (MH/SA) benefit plans and health care utilization. Mercer, Inc. possesses proprietary databases that can provide crucial information in the performance of this requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.=20
