Description

The National Human Genome Research Institute intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health (JHU/SHPH), 615 North Wolfe Street, Baltimore, M.D. 21205, for the continuation of a contract for the professional support of a joint graduate program in genetic counseling. This continuation will extend the current contract for a period up to five years providing a Masters level (Sc.M.) degree and a Ph.D. in Health Policy and Management. JHU/SHPH offers a unique curriculum and faculty. It is geographically convenient so students can commute between the National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, M.D., and the JHU campus in Baltimore, M.D.. Further, the SHPH offers relevant courses in applied ethics, health education and behavior, public policy and counseling. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1.
