Description

Provide all labor, equipment, vehicles, permits, and supervision necessary for refuse collection and disposal, and recycling services at the U.S. Coast Guard Family Housing Site and the Pacific Strike Team, both located in Novato, California. The period of performance will be 01 October 2001 through 30 September 2002, with four (4) one year option periods from 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2006. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 23 July, 2001 with a 20-day response time. The solicitation will be issued via the Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov under Vendors, DOT, United States Coast Guard, Commander (fcp) USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command -- Pacific, Alameda, California, and will contain a complete permit application package in 'PDF' format. The NAICS code is 562212, with a size standard of $10 Million. This procurement is being conducted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The successful offeror shall comply with Local, State and Federal refuse collection and disposal regulations. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
