Description

The project includes installation of a new 10" diameter well and associated pumps and appurtenances, construction of a new 165 square foot wood framed pump house, installation of new buried water main and lateral distribution system, replacement of water service connections to 9 buildings, installation of 4 new fire hydrants, repair and replacement of existing crushed aggregate and asphalt pavement in areas disturbed by trenching, and demolition and removal of existing well pipe and pump. The project is located at the Kenai Lake Work Center at Milepost 23.4 of Seward Highway, 103 miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska. The estimated price range for the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start work date is fall 2001, however any portion of the work commenced must be completed prior to work stoppage and vacating the site when necessary due to the onset of winter. The contract is to be completed no later than June 30, 2002. The solicitation will be posted to our web site (URL address shown below) for downloading by C.O.B. on July 9, 2001. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to check the web site for any amendments to the solicitation.
