Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates an award through Seal Bid Procedures for the Replacement of Entrance Repair Building Envelope at the Alice Hamilton Laboratory for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), located at 5555 Ridge Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. The cost of this project, Project No. 2000078 per FAR 36.204, has an estimated range of $ 250,000.00 to $ 500,000. This procurement is an UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT with a performance period of 180 calendar days with an anticipated award date of September 12, 2001. This solicitation has a NAICs code of 233320. All work included on this project consists of = the demolition of existing vestibule entrance and construction of new vestibule entrance, installation of exterior cladding material on elevator and stairwell penthouses, tuck pointing and caulking bricks/mortar areas where spalling and cracks have occurred, demolition of abandoned incinerator chimney, replacement of several exterior doors and hardware, and installation of metal capping on coping stone over entire roof perimeter. The facility is a continuously locked facility. A Pre-Construction Site visit will be scheduled and further detailed information will be posted and will be contained in solicitation, 2001-B-0003.
