Description

The specification defines the necessary services, labor, material, equipment and control components required to provide, install, test and make operable the modification to an existing Receiving Conveyor System. The System being modified is located in Building W-143 at the Defense Depot, located at the Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia. The system in Building W-143 was completed in Jan 2001. The function of the system is to receive, induct and transport binnable and palletized material to storage in W-143. The new receiving workstations shall consist of six parasitic drive pallet conveyors and two takeaway belt conveyors, four 12 position tote conveyor staging tables, four worktables, 12 pallet pro stands.
