Description

SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to acquire on a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price/Time and Material basis a contract to DYNALEC Corporation, P.O. BOX 188, 87 W Main Street, Sodus, NY 14551-0188. The proposed contract is for the procurement of Integrated Voice Network (IVN) Program Information Technology equipment and engineering support for U.S. Naval Ships interior voice communication requirements. This includes but is not limited to: Voice Communication Terminals and Equipment, Indicator Panels, IC Switch Boards and Digital Conferencing Switch Systems. This equipment is to be integrated with government furnished equipment (GFE) into ruggedized enclosures. The integration services of Dynalec equipment and GFE into ruggedized enclosures will be approximately 10% of this procurement. The resulting contract will be an IDIQ type contract with procurement for equipment being firm fixed priced and incidental services being time and material for one base year and four one-year option periods. This acquisition will be negotiated on a Sole Source basis with Dynalec Corporation under the authority of FAR 3.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. See Numbered Note 22. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
