Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)DOIMIS-1109-0011 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. (iv)This RFQ is an unrestricted acquisition. NAICS is 421430 with a size standard of 500 employees. Software Updates: Vendor will provide updates for the covered products and documentation subject to the user's license agreement. Vendor will provide notification of software changes and updates, upon request vendor will provide telephone assistance for installation of upgrades. Vendor must be an authorized reseller of Enterasys/Prisma of Cabletron Spectrum Protection Plan. Software Support and Upgrade Coverage under current PRISMA contract #8000332, License #401934. (vii)Period of Performance: 1 August 2001 to 31 July 2002. (viii) The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ: 52.212-1, 52.212-3(Bidders are to include a completed copy of the provision with your bid), 52.212-4, 52.212.5 (DEV), 52.232-33, 252.204-7004, 252.212-7001 (DEV), 252.225-7000.
