Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared=20 in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as=20 supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This=20 announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation = will not=20 be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Proposals=20 are hereby being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. =20 Refer to solicitation as RFQ N00140-01-Q-2244. This solicitation document and=20 incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27 and=20 DFARS 20001213. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the=20 applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at=20 these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.dtic.mil/dfars. A firm fixed price=20 contract is contemplated. The SIC is 541511 and the Small Business Standard is=20 $18M. This is a sole source action with GSX Groupware Solutions and their=20 distributors in accordance with the test program for commercial items (section=20 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996), since they are the only sources capable=20 of providing the required software. GSX Groupware is the only complete package=20 of software available that provides the required support for the eight (8)=20 Lotus Notes Administration modules that are configured to run the Collaboration=20 at Sea (CaS) program. CaS provides real time data not only to the entire=20 Atlantic Fleet, but also to the Commander in Chief of the United States Atlantic Fleet (CINC). The FISC Detachment Philadelphia requests responses from=20 qualified sources capable of providing GSX Monitor Pro, GSX Reboot, GSX Promotion, GSX Sync, GSX Help Desk, and Maintenance for a quantity of 180=20 Servers with two (2) Workstations. Delivery is required within twenty (20)=20 days of contract award to the following address: CINCLANTFLT, Bldg. NH-20 Kings=20 Street, Norfolk, VA 23551. Delivery is FOB Destination. The following=20 represents the item schedule: CLIN 0001 GSX Bundle (Includes GSX Monitor Pro,=20 GSX Reboot, GSX Promotion, GSX Sync Company License, GSX Help Desk, and Maintenance for a quantity of 180 Servers with two (2) Workstations, = Shipping=20 and Handling), quantity of 1 (one) each. The following FAR provision and=20 clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, NOTE: Offeror's attention=20 is specifically directed to paragraph (b)(11) of this provision.
