Description

In support of the Center for Domestic Preparedness, Anniston, Alabama; The Acquisition Management Division of the Office of Justice Programs intends to award a non-competitive acquisition for Chemical Protective Overgarments to Xymid, LLC, 220 GBC Drive, Newark, DE 19702. This award will be made subject to 41 U.S.C 253(c). The award will be a firm fixed price requirements contract with one 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods. The acquisition is for Chemical Protective Suit Ensembles worn by responders during chemical training in a toxic agent environment. The suits to be purchased must be effective against liquid and vapor chemical agents. The U.S. Army's Soldier, Biological and Chemical Command (SBCCOM) protection factor testing of five different chemical protective overgarments indicated that this ensemble will best protect the student responder and center staff during and in support of toxic agent training. Estimated quantities each performance period will be 30 XSML, 80 SML, 200 Med, 200 Lg, 200 XL and 45 XXL. The quantities estimated for each performance period are based on funding received by the Center and may increase as funding increases. Please refer to Numbered Note 22.
