Description

The contractor shall provide all items necessary to provide LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING SERVICES for the Scott Inn Lodging at Scott AFB in accordance with all International Fabricare Institute, American Institute of Laundering, Institute of Launderers, Wash. D. C. Standard Commercial Practices. The solicitation number is F11623-01-R-0014, and the solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). There will be no public bid opening. Award will be based on the "Best Value" to the government in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15, and as supplemented by Agency regulations/procedures. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed offer. The solicitation will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) on or about 25 June 2001, which can be accessed at http://www.eps.gov/. This requirement is set-aside for Small Businesses only. Offerors MUST register on this site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any subsequent addendum(s). Paper copies of the solicitation are not available. The only method for receipt of proposals shall be in written form that complies with the guidelines contained in the solicitation. Proposals may be sent to the attention of Ms Darlene Stitzel at the 375th Contracting Squadron, 201 E Winters St Bldg #50, Scott AFB IL 62225-5015 via US mail or drop off. Faxed copies will not be accepted. Ensure all proposal documentation is marked with the Solicitation number F11623-01-R-0014, = including the envelope. All proposals are tentatively scheduled for receipt in the Contracting Office not later than 4:30 PM on Wednesday, 11 July 2001 (actual due date will be based on actual release date of the solicitation). The associated standard industrial classification code is 7211 and the North American Industry Classification System code is 812320. Services are required for the period of one year after date of award of contract, with 4 Optional one-year periods. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) does not apply to this acquisition. Award will not be made to any contractor who is not listed in the Contractor's Central Registration (CCR).
