Description

Invitation for Bid 40020-0031 is for but not limited to the demolition of mechanical equipment in existing powerplant building with the existing building to remain intact. Constuction of new powerplant building including associated fueling station and associated civil improvements. Construction of new site utility distribution equipment including piping and electrical ductbanks. Prebid to be held at the construction site, US Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, MO. All interested parties must complete a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Check, at least 3 days prior to attending the prebid. Anticipated date of prebid July 18, 2001. Bonding required. Architect and Engineer firms will issue the specifications for a non-refundable fee to be determined at a later date. Magnitude of construction is 5 -- 10 million. Requests must be in writing.
