Description

65 -- Radiation Therapy Systems. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR COMPANIES WITHOUT A CURRENT CONTRACT TO SUBMIT AN OFFER UNDER AN "OPEN SEASON" OF RFP 797-DD-00-0031. The Government intends to make multiple awards and the contract type shall be indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ). The contract shall be for a period of one year beginning September 1, 2001 or the date of award, whichever is later, through August 31, 2002 with the option to renew for one additional one-year period. Issue date will be on or about June 28, 2001 with offers due thirty days later. All responsible sources may submit proposals which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted electronically at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp.htm on or about the issue date. Requests for copies of the solicitation from the contracting officer must made be in writing but may be faxed to (708) 786-5256. See Note 12.
