Description

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the following four items: 1.) Cryogenic Hemt Low Noise Amp Freq Band 3.1 -- 3.5 GHZ Noise temp 6K max at 20K minmum gain 28DB Gain flatness +/-1.5 DB Input vswr<1.5:1 Output VSWR 2:1 Power dissipation <100 MW. 2.) Cryogenic Hemt Low Noise AMP Freq Band 5.2 -- 5.8 GHZ Noise Temp 8K max at 20K. Minimum gain 28 DB Gain Flatness +/-1.5 DB Input Vswr < 1.5:1 Output Vswr 2:1 Power Dissipation < 100 MW 3.) Cryogenic Hemt Low Noise Amp Freq Band 7.8 -- 8.5 GHZ Noise Temp 12K max at 20K Minimum gain 30 DB Gain Flatness +/-1.5 DB Input VSWR < 1.5:1 Output Vswr 2:1 Power Dissipation < 100 MW 4.) Cryogenic Hemt Low Noise Amp Freq Band 9.5 -- 10.7 GHZ Noise Temp 14K Max at 20K Minimum Gain 28 DB Gain Flatness +/- 1.5 DB Input Vswr < 1.5:1 Output Vswr 2:1 Power dissipation < 100 MW. The quantities on all four items is two each. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ is 7/9/01 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 7/20/01. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
