Description

Concerns having the ability for providing a Community Correctons Center facility for male and female Federal offenders released in the Marion, Illinois area. Those interested shall give wirtten notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishings subsistence and medical services, except the expenses of hospital, surgical, prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Marion, Illinois area. Estimated total number of mandays are 16,790 for the base period, 6,935 for the first option year, 9,125 for the second option year and 9,125 for the third option year. The estimated RFP issue date is on or about 07/20/01 and the estimated closing date is 09/18/01. The contract base period is two years, with three (1) one year options, to renew. A firm-fixed price requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
