Description

This project is a Request for Proposal to construct an engine storage and barracks building at the Buffalo Creek Work Center, South Platte Ranger District, Pike/San Isabel National Forest, El Paso County, Colorado. The proposed project includes the construction of a 1,856 square foot engine storage building, construction of a concrete foundation for a modular barracks, exterior finish work of the modular barracks and hookup to site utilities. Site work includes installing a septic system for the barracks, connecting the proposed engine storage building into an existing septic system, waterline relocation and buried electrical service to both buildings. The proposed project is located at the Buffalo Creek Work Center, 18042 County Road 126, Buffalo Creek, Colorado. From Denver, Colorado, proceed southwest on State Highway 285 to the community of Pine Junction. Turn southeast on Jefferson County Road 126 and proceed approximately 9 miles. The Buffalo Creek Work Center is on the left side of the road. The performance period for the proposed project is 180 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition.
