Description

IFB: PURSUANT TO P.L. 100-656, SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM, THIS SOLICITATION IS CLASSIFIED AS UNRESTRICTED. In accordance with FAR 19.1307, Prive Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns, a 10% evaluation preference will be given to HUBZone firms. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation to perform all work required. The project includes clean out of existing drainage structures and piping; re-grade, create depressions and stabilize designated areas to accomodate storm water; provide better drainage characteristics; and reduce sedimentation problems and drainage system maintenance. CONTRACTORS ARE TO BID ON SPECIFICATION AS PROVIDED; NO ALTERNATIVES WILL BE CONSIDERED. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234990, All Other Heavy Construction. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00, including one option with an estimated time of completion of 60 days. The solicitation will be issued on July 12, 2001 and bids will be due on August 13, 2001. The Government intends on issuing the solicitation through the use of the internet only. The entire solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web-site. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
