Description

The contractor shall provide the labor, equipment, materials and supervision required to remove an existing garage and concrete slab with an adjoining structure at Quarters E and replace it with a new 12 ft wide x 24 foot long, pre-fabricated garage on a new prepared site. Site preparations and the installation of a garage of the same size and style shall be installed at Quarters B. Additional work shall include driveway modifications and the installation of a 60 AMP electrical service at each garage. The North American Industry Classification System (NCAIS) is 235990. The size standard is $17.0 million. The estimated cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price construction type contract. The procurment will be obtained utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The period of performance is 60 calendar days. This solicitation (specification and sketch) will be limited to the electronic medium; they will not be provided in a paper hard copy format or cd rom. Registration and downloading from the internet is free of charge; however, some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective quoters are required to register of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for the procurement when specifications become available. An official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the website. If you fail to register, the Government cannot be responsible for your being notified of any amendments to the solicitation. They solicitation will be available on/about 26 Jun 2001. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the internet. Therefore, the contractor is responsible to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. In addition, all contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR makes and offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts.
