Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is DAAB07-Q-D631. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars. This acquisition is for the procurement of Turbocharger Assembly, NSN: 2950-01-200-7420, manufacturing Part No. 6N8458, for eight (8) each. Delivery is to New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland, PA. Packing and Packaging shall be IAW contractor's best commercial packaging, ASTM D 3951-98. Bar Code Markings are required IAW ANSI/AIM-BCI, USSC 39 AND MIL-STD-129. Quotes are requested from authorized dealers/distributors. Award will be based upon the lowest price, technically acceptable offeror. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The sucessful offeror shall complete FAR Provision 52212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, which would otherwise be included in a written solicitation, prior to award. Offerors are advised that applicable clauses shall be incorporated into the award document. Quotes are due no later than 1:30 PM, EDT on 6 July 2001.
