The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following coaxial cable and connectors: 1) Coaxial Cable, Part Number FSJ4-50B, 50 OHM, inch Superflex, foam PE Dielec, Standard Jacket, Specs: Max freq. 10.2 GHz; Peak Power rating 7.5 Kw; Attenuation Loss at .5 Mhz to be 0.234 db per 100 meters DC resistance, ohms per 1000m 2.69 inner/3.28 outer, 1 each -- 1000 ft reel; 2) Coaxial Cable, Part Number LDF5-50A, 7/8 inch, 50 OHM, with PE Foam Dielectric and PE Jacket, Specs: Max freq. 5.0 GHz; Peak Power rating 44Kw, Attenuation Loss at .5Mhz to be 0.0804 db per 100 meters, DC resistance, ohms per 1000m 1.05 inner/1.05 outer, 4 each -- 1000 Ft reels; 3) Coaxial Cable, Part Number LDF4-50A, inch, 50 OHM, with PE Foam Dielectric and PE Jacket, Specs: Max freq. 8.8 GHz; Peak Power rating 19Kw, Attenuation Loss at .5Mhz to be 0.152 db per 100 meters, DC resistance, ohms per 1000m -- 1.48 inner/1.90 outer, 2 each -- 1000 feet reels; 4) Connector, Part Number F4PNM, N Male, Plated, For FSJ4-50B, quantity -- 6 each; 5) Connector, Part Number L5PNM, N Male, Plated, For LDF5-50A, quantity -- 6 each; 6) Connector, Part Number L4PNM, N Male, Plated, For LDF4-50A, quantity -- 6 each. This requirement is sole-sourced to Andrew Corporation; 664 Bristol Avenue, Simi Valley, CA 93065 as the only vendor able to provide this material due to the required frequency ranges and compatibility with existing cables and connections. Any firms believing that they can provide this material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
