Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) anticipates procuring, on a sole source basis, additional integrated shipboard in-line oil debris and condition monitoring systems for land-based and shipboard test and evaluation purposes. This procurement will modify existing contract N00167-00-C-0101 to procure an additional three (3) systems. It is intended that a sole source modification to contract N00167-00-C-0101 be awarded to GasTOPS (a Canadian Corporation), 1011 Polytek Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1J9J3. Note 22 applies to the extent that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) since the systems to be procured are trademarked by GasTOPS. It is estimated that the modification will be issued on or about 06 August 2001.
