Description

The Defense Financial Integrated Systems Services (DFISS) contract(s) were awarded in September 1996 and will expire on March 31, 2002. These contracts support the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) by providing the full range of technical support services to include, but not limited to software design and analysis, software development, engineering and migration, software programming, software process improvement, economic analysis and system documentation. The current incumbent contractors are Computer Sciences Corporation, Falls Church, VA, Electronic Data Systems Corporation, Herndon, VA, Science Applications International Corporation, Vienna, VA and Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Owego, NY. Based on an estimated usage of $70 million dollars a year, the follow-on effort will be satisfied by establishing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) against GSA Federal Supply Schedules utilizing FAR Part 8. Both Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material type task orders will be issued under the BPA. Request for Quotation MDA220-01-T-0011 and all attachments will be posted on or around 22 Jun 01. The BPAs will be for a period of 5 years and will be reviewed on an annual basis in accordance with FAR 13.303-6.
