Description

The Commanding Officer, Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and management to provide for lease of two (2) subcompact vehicles for use in the Azores for a period of twelve months with three (3) twelve months options (not exceeding 48 months total.). All vehicles must be current or previous year of manufacturer and fully operable. Odometer readings are not to exceed 3,200 kilometers. Requesting subcompact sedans, 4 passenger, 4 door, front and rear seat belts. 1000/1200 cc. Examples of type of models desired are Fiat, Punto Fiesta, Renault Clio, or Peugeout 206. Each vehicle should comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (49 CFR 571) and host nation road codes applicable to the vehicles. All manufacturer's required maintenance shall be included in the lease fee and provided by the contractor or his agent. The contractor shall be responsible for repairs to all leased vehicles including transportation costs. Late offers will be considered if to the Government's advantage. The vehicles are required by 1 July 2001.
