Description

This project is a Request for Proposal to remove and replace the existing Union Pass Bridge on the Shoshone National Forest, Fremont County, Wyoming. The proposed project includes the removal of the existing timber bridge, installation of a new 8.6 meter span, 3-sided precast concrete bridge, rip rap, minor road realignment, approach guardrail system and other miscellaneous items. Road closure to replace the bridge will only be granted from April 1 to June 30, 2002. Mobilization will include snowplowing to open the road. The proposed project is located 30 miles west/southwest of Dubois, Wyoming, on Forest Development Road 263 on the Shoshone National Forest. Township 41 North, Range 108 West, SW 1/4 of Section 30. The performance period for the proposed contract is 270 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract.
