Description
Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to replace the aviation fuel farm at US Coast Guard Air Facility Newport, Newport, Oregon. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Base Bid: 1. Remove and recycle approximately 1000 gallons of JP-8 fuel. Additional quantities of JP-8 above 1000 gallons shall be removed and recycled as a contingency bid item. 2. Demolish the 5,000 gallon fuel tank, 3,000 gallon fuel tank, the 500 gallon defueling tank, the dispensing unit, and all field piping connected to these facilities. Relocate the 200 gallon waste oil tank as indicated on the drawing. The existing concrete pad will be reused for the new tank farm. 3. Disconnect the light on the west side of the concrete pad and reinstall it outside the new concrete pad with power as indicated on the drawings. 4. Demolish power to the existing fuel farm and provide power to new fuel farm. 5. Demolish the heavy duty switch and receptacle next to the power panel and replace with new. 6. Demolish 10 feet of existing concrete road next to the fuel farm as indicated on the drawings and prepare the ground for the new reinforced steel concrete pad. 7. Install a new reinforced steel concrete pad extension on the west side of the existing concrete pad and a skid supporting concrete mat for the new fuel tank skids as indicated on the drawing. 8. Install a 12,000-gallon, factory fabricated, pre-engineered, packaged fuel tank system for JP-8 aircraft fuel. 9. Install guard posts to protect the tank farm as on the drawings and specifications. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable NAICS code is 234910. Small Business size standard is $27.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered.
