Description

This project consists of construction of Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standard aggregate surfaced trails, boardwalk trails, wood stave tub, and decks; misc. plumbing, and impoundment, and signs. Some materials are government furnished. The project is located on Chichagof Island, approximately 15.5 miles east of Hoonah, Alaska. The project site is accessible by seaplane, boat, barge and the Alaska Marine Highway system. Estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. Contract time is 60 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about July 10, 2001 for viewing and printing. Follow the link to Current Contract Information. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation by way of the Internet if possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.
