Description

The U.S. Department of State, Consular Service Division (CA EX CSD), intends to award a purchase order to ANADAC/IDENTIX, Inc. on a noncompetitive basis for the procurement of DFR-90 Fingerprint Scanners (70ea), and DFR-90 40 DOD/DMDC (10ea). The electronic imager DFR-90 Fingerprint Scanner has been deployed in all Consular Systems Modernization installations that include the Border Crossing Card system (BCC). The integration of the Fingerprint Scanner in the system configuration enables consular staff members to incorporate biometrics in Border Crossing Cards both as authentication elements and as fraud detterrent features.
