, Qty 1, Delivery FOB Origin -- The purpose of this synopsis is to comply with the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This requirement is for establishment of a "mini-stock point" or warehouse at Systems and Electronics, INC (98255). SEI is the sole source repair contractor for the Radar Set Test Station and the Electrical Equipment Test Station, and as such, is also the sole source for warehousing the components for the repair of these systems. The warehousing tasks will include storage of both ready for issue and not ready for issue Navy assets, reporting the condition of the Navy assets received type and condition, moving assets into and out of the repair line, etc. NAVICP anticipates that the establishment of a stockpoint at the contractor's plant will significantly improve repair turn around time (RTAT) and reduce shipping time by allowing the contractor to expedite repairs and directly ship assets to the requisitioner. Only an onsite stock point at the contractor's plant will achieve the desired results. Therefore, a stockpoint anywhere other than/the contractor's plant is not considered in NAVICP's best interest., See Notes 22,26*****
