Description

The USDA, ARS, Contracts Branch is seeking qualified contractors to participate in a competition for operations and maintenance support services at National Center for Agricultural, Utilization Research (NCAUR) in Peoria, Illinois. Services include heating, ventilation and air condition; janitorial, electrical, electronic, plumbing and pipefitting, carpentry and masonry, painting, security, machinist, refrigeration, chemical storeroom/freight, scientific illustrations, receptionist/switchboard operator, mail, centralized copying and duplicating, and emergency asbestos removal. The period of performance is expected to be January 2002 through September 30, 2002 with options to extend performance for 6 additional 12-month periods. It is anticipated that a cost plus award fee contract will be awarded. It is the intent of the Agency to convert the SOW to a fixed price performance based work statement with performance measures, and performance incentive/deduct plans during the base period of performance. The contractor shall serve as a partner in achieving Agency goals and objectives. Offerors will submit past performance information, key personnel candidates and a price proposal at the time of proposal submission. The Government intends to make a best value award to the offeror who offers the best value to the Government.
