Description

The National Park Service, Point Reyes National Seashore intends to acquire 12-bit digital aerial imagery of a 150,000 acre area within Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo Counties of North-Centeral California for two time periods in 2001. The first set of imagery will be in late July and is required in 4-bands, blue, green, red and near infrared at one meter resolution. It will be terrain corrected and geo-referenced into ortho-rectified tiles with horizontal spatial accuracy on less than +/- one meter. A 15,000 acre sub-area is required (with the same 4-bands) at one-half meter resolution. The second time period is for a leaf-off scene to be acquired from a space-borne in late November/December. It is required in the same four bands as listed above but at 4 meter resolution with a panchromatic layer at one meter resolution. It will be terrain corrected and geo-referenced into ortho-rectified tiles with horizontal spatial accuracy on less than +/- four meters. All imagery will be radiometrically corrected to account for changes in sensor sensitivity and atmospheric conditions. It is the Government's intent to make a sole source award to Space Imaging of Thornton, CO. Any source who contends they are capable of providing the above should submit factual data and any pertinent technical information as needed for evaluation purposes within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice.
