Description

The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation to perform the following: a. Construction of a detention pond with concrete headwall at the pipe entrance, b. Installation of a 84" diameter concrete storm drain pipe utilizing steel sheeting in places, c. Protecting certain utilities and relocating others, d. installing manholes where connecting to the existing collection systems, e. installing first flush treatment devices in some of these manholes, f. Repairing pavement and soil where disturbed, and g. Installing new chain link fence where required. All work is at Otis Air National Guard Base, Cape Cod, MA.Performance period is 150 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Prime contractor will be required to perform at least 25% of all work. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project is being issued as unrestricted to all contractors qualified to perform under SIC Code 1623 and NAICS Code 23491 (Water, Sewer, and Pipeline Constuction).Requests for DAHA19-01-B-0004 may be sent via email to vincenzo.valastro@ma.ngb.army.mil, faxed to (508) 233-6691, or mailed to USPFO, ATTN: LTC Vince Valastro, 50 maple Street, Milford MA 01757. Solicitation Packages will be available for issue on or about 13 July 2001 with a Bid Opening Date of 15 Aug 2001.
