Description

This is a firm fixed price contract with a NAICS code of 23332. Competition for this acquisition is unrestricted, open to both large and small business concerns. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. This project is located at Cannon Air Force Base, at the intersection of Torch and Octagon Streets, Curry County, New Mexico. Project consist of the construction of a new eleven story control tower, approximately 127 feet (38.7 meters) in height, with an area containing 8,200 square feet (761.8 square meters). The new facility will accommodate the current staffing levels and provide state-of-the-art flight controlling equipment. Site improvement will include the construction of a mechanical yard, landscaping, and utility connections. The existing tower located in Building 135 will be demolished from the 4th floor to the 10th floor cab level. Removal of asbestos containing material is included in the demolition of the existing tower. This solicitation will be advertised by Electronic Bid Set (EBS).
