Description

Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the internet after solicitation issuance. Plans and specifications will be issued on compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a U.S. Air Force Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) project. It provides a Golf Course clubhouse/Equipment Storage Facility at Pope air Force Base, North Carolina. The project is to provide an approximately 6,800 square feet, air conditioned and heated facility including space for a Pro Shop (with casework), office, locker room/latrine, snack bar (with fast food-type kitchen equipment) and outdoor patio eating area, exterior CMU block with brick veneer construction. Exterior features include new paved golf cart queuing area with access to the course cart paths and existing cart storage shed; asphalt overlay and rework of existing vehicle parking area. Work also includes electrical upgrades/repairs to the existing cart storage shed (Bldg 192), and exterior painting and metal roofing of this same structure. Landscaping in support of both the new facility and the cart storage shed is also included as part of the site improvements. Supporting facilities include all utilities, telephone and cable TV service. Bid options will be included. The construction drawings are in standard English dimensions. Estimated cost range of the project is 1,000,000 to 5,000,000. Network Analysis System will be required. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" (Public Law 100-656). It will be available on the Internet at the above web address on or about 11 July 2001. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted on the Internet at the above address unless the total amended compressed files are less than 5Mbytes in which case a new CD ROM will be issued. For amendments posted only on the Internet, Standard Form (SF 30), a list of revised specifications and drawings will be mailed to each bidder.
