Description

The Government is pursuing a five year Long term Indefinite Quantity Contract for 28 NSNs. 4320-00-792-8958; 4320-01-268-3060; 4320-00-145-2600; 4320-01-245-0859; 4320-01-245-1160; 4320-01-159-5846; 4320-01-124-5359; 4320-01-245-6936; 4320-01-412-8596; 4320-01-440-7388; 4320-01-195-6049; 4320-00-285-3756; 4320-01-061-0771; 4320-01-226-1226; 4310-01-302-3003; 4320-00-288-8961; 4320-01-408-8153; 4320-01-245-0860; 4320-00-121-0446; 4320-00-180-5590; 4320-00-463-2507; 4320-00-868-9575; 4320-01-009-6148; 4320-01-009-6149; 4320-01-010-5086; 4320-01-022-7671; 4320-01-111-5586; 4320-01-349-7370. The items will primarily support stock replenishment requirements. However, the contractor(s) shall also support DVD and FMS shipments. The required delivery for all items (stock shipments) is 60 days; DVD/FMS shipments is 10 days. All interested offerors are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Notes 1, 12 and 26 apply. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date 13 July 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web site. If the drawings are not posted with the solicitation, see Clause L07 -- Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. The proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4320. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evalutation factorsas described in the solicitation.
