Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-01-T-0048 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This will be a 100% small business set aside (NAICS: 339920 size standard 500). Responses should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLINS 1, 2, 3 will be at Site A on PCMS. CLIN 0001 Riprap 6"-12", QTY: 525 tons. CLIN 0002 Cleanstone 1.5", QTY: 250 tons. CLIN 0003 Roadbase Class 5, QTY: 200 tons. CLINS 4, 5, 6 will be at Site B on PCMS. CLIN 0004 Riprap 12"-18", QTY: 1350 tons. CLIN 0005 Cleanstone 1.5", QTY: 450 tons. CLIN 0006 Roadbase Class 5, QTY: 225 tons. CLINS 7, 8, 9 will be at Site C on PCMS. CLIN 0007 Riprap 12"-18", QTY: 25 tons. CLIN 0008 Riprap 6"-12", QTY: 50 tons. CLIN 0009 Cleanstone 1.5", QTY: 75 tons. CLINS 10, 11, 12 will be at Site D on PCMS. CLIN 0010 Riprap 12"-18", QTY: 75 tons. CLIN 0011 Riprap 6"-12", QTY: 50 tons. CLIN 0012 Cleanstone 1.5", QTY: 50 tons. CLIN 13 is a 5% variance in quantity due to the difficulty in loading precise tonnage. Delivery will be to Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site, 36086 HWY 350, Bldg 350, Model, CO 80913 by 10 July 2001. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (02/2000) is hereby incorporated by reference, the following clauses are applicable and incorporated by reference: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era, 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party.
