Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F26600-01-Q-B067 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334310. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is one with 750 or fewer employees. Item Description is as follows: Contractor shall remove existing audio system consisting of 16 speakers, speaker wiring and two microphone inputs and install a multimedia projection system and electric screen for the Enlisted Club location on Nellis Air Force Base, NV 89191. Contractor shall provide Industrial Grade Equipment only. System shall be full-turn solution system capable of providing audio, visual, and computer functions. Contractor shall provide 12 month service warranty. The size of the room is 76.9 ft X 59 ft with 3 partitions. POC is Pete Marnach at 702-652-7253. Quote must include all shipping charges, warranty information if applicable, and delivery time. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 52.212-2 EVALUATION -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Past Performance & Suitability; meaning the capability of the items offered to meet the agency need. Suitability and past performance will be rated more important than price. The government intends to use best value judgment and may not award the purchase order the lowest quotation received. Past performance will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.305(a)(2). Government will consider the currency and relevance of the information, source of the information, context of the data, and general trends in contractor performance. In the case of a contractor without a record of relevant past performance, the contractor will not be evaluated favorable or unfavorably on past performance. Contractor shall submit specifications for the Industrial Grade Type Equipment submitted on the bid in order to evaluate suitability. Contractors may email specifications to the contractor administrator. Warranty information shall be quoted separately, contractor may submit various type of warranty offered e.g. platinum, silver, gold plans, and the government will determine the type of warranty basic on the governments needs. Warranty shall consist of the minimum on-site service call within 3 hours, and replacement units if components have to be removed for repair. Prices to the government shall be as low as or lower than those charged to the contractor's most favored customer, in addition to any discounts for prompt payment. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Offerors who fail to submit a completed Representations and Certification may be considered non-responsive.
