Description

An A-76 cost comparison study is being conducted for specified services currently performed by Government personnel for Yakima Training Center (YTC) Operations, Yakima, WA. The study is in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, Performance of Commercial Activities, to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation, i.e., continued performance by Government employees or by a contract performed by a commercial entity. A contract will not be awarded if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. Contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the following services: Administrative Services, Logistics Services, Public Works Services, Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security Services, Environmental Services, Community Services, Housing Billeting Services and Facility Assignments, Information Management, Support Services and Roads, Grounds and Range Support Maintenance Services. The Contracting Office anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on 20 July 2001. Any resultant contract will have a performance period, which includes a 30-day phase-in, a base year and four option periods.
