Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Solicitation No. DAKF06-01-T-0049. This solicitation is being issued as a "Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3. The solicitation documents incorporate provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. 4. The proposed contract will be a 100% set-aside for Small Business. For this acquisition, the Small Business Size Regulation is 18.5 million, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 484121. 5. List of contract line items number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure: 0001/ITEM: Rental of 138 20' Storage Containers 0002/ITEM: Delivery from Fort Carson, Colorado to Egypt 0003/ITEM: Delivery from Egypt to Fort Carson, Colorado Period of Performance: 16 July 2001 through 21 Dec 2001. 6. Contractor shall deliver to 3D ACR, Support Squadron, 4652 Quinn BLDG 2352, Fort Carson, CO 80913 7. The provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial apply to this acquisition to include any addendas to the provision. 8. FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items (1/99) applies to this solicitation. Price and delivery time will be the only factors used for evaluation. Price is significantly more important than delivery time. 9. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, with their quotation. 10. FAR Clause 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial items(5/99) applies to this acquisition. 11.
