Description

1. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. 2. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, has a requirement for Calcium Chloride 34% on an as needed basis for the period 1 July 01 -- 30 Jun 02 with 4 option years. Deliveries are to be made to the Munson test Course and to the Churchville Test Course on an as needed basis. Materials to be delivered within 72 hours after notification by the Contracting Officer's Representative. 3. Estimated quantity -- 30,000 gallons per year. 4. Salient Characteristics: Assay, %CaCL2 35-36, Alkali Chlorides, % as NaCL: 0.5-1.3, Total Alkalinity, % as CaO: 0.005-0.04, Specific Gravity, at 60 degrees F: 1.351-1.163, Crystallization temperature, degrees F: 14-24, Viscosity, cP at 77 degreesf: 4.8-5.2. 5.
